Vidhwa Pension Scheme Information –

This scheme is for widows only and benefits are given to widows on the basis of the following criteria.

1. Financially poor widows are paid an honorarium of Rs.600 per month.

2. If a widow has more than one child, she is paid Rs. 900 per month.

3. To avail the benefit of Widow Pension Scheme, the annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 21000.

4. Widows should be below 65 years of age to avail this scheme. Widows are paid a pension up to the age of 65 years.
