दिवाळी (Diwali ) सणाची सुरुवात म्हणजे वसुबारस (Vasu Baras ). दिवाळीच्या ( Diwali 2023) सुरुवातीलाच हा सण येतो. हिंदू पंचागानुसार अश्निन महिन्यातील वद्य द्वादशी दिवशी साजरा केला जाणार सण म्हणजे वसुबारस. याला हिंदी मध्ये बच बारस ‍( bach baras 2023 ) असे ही म्हणतात. यंदाच्या वर्षी वद्य द्वादशी ही 9 नोव्हेंबर 2023 या तारखेस येत आहे. त्यामुळे सहाजीकच यंदाची वसुबारस ?( Vasu Baras 2023) 9 नोव्हेंबरला साजरी होणार आहे. दीपावली (Deepavali 2023) Legendary येणाऱ्या वसुबारस (Vasu Baras 2023) या दिवसाचे विशेष महत्त्व (Vasu Baras 2023 Date and Significance) मानले जाते.आश्विन कृष्ण द्वादशीस वसुबारस साजरी केले जाते. गोवत्सद्वादशी म्हणजे गाई-गुरांबददल कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करण्याचा दिवस. वसु म्हणजे द्रव्य अर्थात धन त्यासाठी असलेली बारस म्हणजे द्वादशी म्हणून या दिवसाला गोवत्स द्वादशी असे म्हणतात. हिंदू धर्मात गाईला महत्वाचे स्थान असून तिचा सन्मान करण्याचा हा दिवस. या दिवशी गाईची पाडसासह पूजा करतात.

आख्यायिका सांगितली जाते की समुद्रमंधन केल्यानंतर पाच कामधेनू निर्माण झाल्या होत्या. त्यापैकी नंदा नामक एक कामधेनू होती. या धेनूस उद्देशून वसूबारसेस हे व्रत केले केले जाते.

 

 

वसुबारस साजरी करावयाची पध्दत –

• बसुबारसेच्या दिवशी गायी आणि तिच्या वासराची पूजा केली जाते.
• या दिवशी दारासमोर रांगोळी काढली जाते.
• काही महिला या दिवशी उपवास करतात.
•  या दिवशी या महिला प्रामुख्याने काही काही पदार्थ खात नाहीत.
• यात गहू, मूग यांसारख्या धान्य आणि कडधान्याचा समावेश होतो. व्रत पूर्ण झाल्यावर या महिला बाजरीची भाकरी आणि गवारीच्या शेंगाची भाजी याचे भोजन करुन उपवास सोडतात.
• ज्यांच्याकडे घरी गुरे, वासरे आहेत त्यांच्याकडे ह्यादिवशी पुरणा-वरणाचा स्वयंपाक करतात.
• घरातील सवाष्ण बायका गाईच्या पायावर पाणी घालतात. नंतर हळद-कुंकू, फुले, अक्षता वाहून फुलांची माळ त्यांच्या गळ्यात घालतात.
•  निरांजनाने ओवाळून केळीच्या पानावर पुरणपोळी वगैरे पदार्थ वाढून गाईला खाऊ घालतात. ह्या दिवसापासून अंगणात रांगोळी काढण्यास सुरूवात करतात.

 

वसुबारस (Vasu Baras 2023) का साजरी करतात –

 

• आपल्या शेतीत भरपूर उत्पन्न व्हावे, पती, मुलाबालांना भरपूर दीर्घायू लाभावे अशी कामना करत सुवासीनी महिला या दिवशी मनोभावे पूजा करतात.
• पुष्कळ स्त्रियांचा या दिवशी उपवास असतो. आपल्या मुला-बाळांना चांगले आरोग्य मिळावे व सुख लाभावे म्हणून ही पूजा करतात.
• दिवाळीच्या दरम्यान वातावरणामध्ये अधिक प्रमाणात ऊर्जा निर्माण होत असते, ज्यामुळे वातावरणात अस्थिरता आणि प्रणाली तापमान वाढ होते. हे टाळण्यासाठी म्हणून १०० कोटी देव जिच्यात सामावले आहेत अशी ही आपली गाऊमाताचे पूजन केले जाते, जिच्यामध्ये देवाच्या दैवी किरण शोषण्याची कमाल क्षमता आहे. गाय देखील कृष्ण स्वरूपात प्रभु प्रतिनिधित्व करते आणि म्हणून या दिवशी उपासना आहे.
• बसुबारसेपासून दिवाळीचा उत्साह सुरु होतो. पुढे पुढे हा उत्साह अधिक रंगतदारहोत वाढत जातो. दिवाळीला गोडधोड केले जाते. तळलेले पदार्थ आणि मिठाई यांची रेलचेल असते.

 

वसुबारस (Vasu Baras 2023) या दिवशी काय करावे-

 

• या दिवसापासून अंगणात रांगोळी काढून दिवाळीची सुरुवात होते.
• घरी गुरे, वासरे असणार्‍यांकडे ह्या दिवशी पुरणा-वरणाचा स्वयंपाक करुन नैवेद्य दाखवला जातो.
• सौभाग्यवती स्त्रिया एकभुक्त राहून सायंकाळी संवत्स म्हणजे वासरासह असलेल्या गायीचे पूजन करतात.
• सवाष्ण बायका गाईच्या पायावर पाणी घालतात.
• नंतर हळद-कुंकू, फुले, अक्षता वाहून फुलांची माळ त्यांच्या गळ्यात घालतात.
• निरांजनाने ओवाळून केळीच्या पानावर पुरणपोळी वगैरे पदार्थ वाढून गाईला खाऊ घालतात.
• स्त्रिया बाजरीची भाकरी व गवारीच्या शेंगाची भाजी खाऊन उपवास सोडतात.

• या दिवशी दूध, दुधाचे पदार्थ, तळलेले पदार्थ खात नाहीत.
• घरांत लक्ष्मीचे आगमन व्हावे या हेतूनेही या दिवशी सवत्स धेनूची पूजा करण्याची पद्धत आहे.

Significance of Vasu Baras

The beginning of Diwali is Vasu Baras. This festival begins at the beginning of Diwali 2023. According to the Hindu calendar, Vasubaras is a festival celebrated on the 9th day of the month of Ashnin. It is also called  bach baras (bach baras 2023) in Hindi. This year Vadya Dwadashi is coming on 12th November 2023. So, this year’s Vasu Baras 2023 will be celebrated on November 12. Vasu Baras 2023 is considered to be of special significance (Vasu Baras 2023 Date and Significance) which falls before Diwali (Deepavali 2023). Govatsadvadashi is a day to express gratitude for cows. This day is called Govats Dvadashi as Vasu means Dravya, meaning wealth, and Baras for it. Cow has an important place in Hinduism and this is the day to honor it. On this day, cows are worshiped with padsa.

Legend has it that five Kamadhenu were formed after the submergence of the sea. Among them was a Kamadhenu named Nanda. Vasubarasas are vowed for this purpose.

 

 

How to celebrate Vasubaras –

• The cow and her calf are worshiped on the day of Basubarase.
• On this day rangoli is taken out in front of the door.
• Some women fast on this day.
•  These days these women mainly do not eat certain foods.
• These include grains and cereals such as wheat and green gram. At the end of the fast, these women break their fast by eating millet bread and guava bean vegetable.
• Those who have cattle and calves at home cook purana-varana on this day.
• The housewives of the house pour water on the feet of the cows. Then they carry turmeric-kumkum, flowers, akshata and put a garland of flowers around their necks.
•  Puranpoli etc. are grown on banana leaves by waving Niranjan and feeding the cow. From this day onwards, rangoli is made in the courtyard.

 

Why Celebrate Vasu Baras 2023 –

 

• On this day, fragrant women perform pooja with the hope that their farms will bring a lot of income, husbands and children a long life.
• Many women fast on this day. They perform poojas for the good health and happiness of their children.
• During Diwali, more energy is generated in the atmosphere, which leads to instability in the atmosphere and increase in system temperature. To prevent this, our village mother is worshiped, which contains 100 crore gods, who have the maximum capacity to absorb the divine rays of God. The cow also represents the Lord in the form of Krishna and is therefore worshiped on this day.
• The excitement of Diwali starts from Basubarse. Over time, this enthusiasm grows more and more colorful. Diwali is sweetened. There is a lot of fried food and sweets.

 

 

What to do on Vasu Baras 2023-

• From this day, Diwali begins with making rangoli in the courtyard.
• On this day, Purana-Varana is cooked and offered to those who have cattle and calves at home.
• Fortunately, the women remain united and worship the cow with the calf in the evening.
• Swasna women pour water on the feet of cows.
• Then they carry turmeric-kumkum, flowers, akshata and put a garland of flowers around their necks.
• Puranpoli etc. are grown on banana leaves by waving Niranjan and feeding the cow.
• The women break their fast by eating millet bread and guava legumes.
• They perform poojas for the good health and happiness of their children.
• Do not eat milk, dairy products, fried foods on this day.
• There is a method of worshiping Savatsa Dhenu on this day for the purpose of bringing Lakshmi in the house.
